News on Surrey LCWIP

Surrey County Council is currently in the early stages of developing design proposals for Local Streets Improvements (LSI) in Walton-on-Thames.

We want to work with and seek views from people who live, work, study, travel through and spend time in the Walton area to design more people-friendly streets for all.

Help us identify the key local transport issues in the area and what could be changed to improve the streets in Walton by submitting your views on the Walton Commonplace site by 30 November 2023.

We are hosting two engagement sessions in Walton where Project Team staff will be available to answer any questions you may have and gather views.

Both events will be held in the Walton Library in The Heart Centre, 54 Hepworth Way, Walton-on-Thames KT12 1GH.

The timings of the engagement sessions are:

• Saturday 4 November from 10am until 2pm.

• Tuesday 7 November from 2pm until 7pm.
